Switch signals...

What do you do when every effort you make towards something produces no results? Do you give up? I think it depends on your passion for the results you would like. The passion is what thrives us in all that we do. I am a firm believer that if you put your very best foot forward in all that you do then the universe will repay you for your hard work and effort. You may not get what you ultimately want at that very time but it usually comes in due time and it may be more than what you originally bargained for.

Sometimes we find ourselves fighting a loosing battle against the things that we love and are passionate about the most. Sometimes the battle is not or wasn't ours to fight to begin with. You have to just let time take it course and allow the forces that work to do just that... work.

Many times when it comes to the people in our lives..they are so use to their own "flaws" that they don't even realize when they are inflicting pain and hurt on the ones who love them the most. We all are a work in progress and we are all looking for the ultimate healing....to be happy...peaceful and loved. We live thinking that we are always doing our very best but we have to realize what is "best" is only limited to our experience and knowledge. What may be best for you may not be best for your neighbor.

Respecting that everyone has feelings, differences, and comes from a different place in life helps when it comes to the way we communicate with one another. Love is a universal language. If you do things from a loving space, I have found that the signals never get switched. It is only when we speak from a position of hate, envy, bitterness, disappointment, and grief that we are not able to reach each other thoroughly.

Positive flow and energy kills everything...no matter what is happening just don't let it take you over and stay positive. Keep on your path and what is meant for you will be. Sometimes....you are greater than the mediocrity around you and GOD places people and environments in your world that are more suitable to you and the language you speak. I do not believe anything is by accident. Things most definitely happen for a reason always, so pay close attention to it all and start to decide the way you will react to make the results you ultimately NEED occur.

"AHA"

Sometimes the best moments imaginable come out of complete silence with yourself. One of my biggest joys is reading a book that literally takes my breathe away, then placing the book down and breathing it all in.

It may not sound that eventful but there is nothing like an "aha" moment as Oprah defines it. An "Aha"" moment is when you allow yourself to open up to a message that has probably been staring you in the face the entire time but you just hadn't realized it until the actual moment you was supposed to grasp it, and that moment is your "Aha".

I am almost in complete euphoria when I am in this space. With all the distractions and shallow occurrences that happen in our lives daily, when we have time to sit and be with ourselves we rarely maximize on this opportunity. We do not even know how to do this. We start to get weary, fidget, and think about every thing else other than the NOW.

I am forcing myself to live in the NOW and appreciate every ounce of what this moment is compromised of. I am in a state of gratitude that I am blessed to still have this moment. It is mine for the taking. So many of us are not here in the physical any more, and have transcended on to the next phase in their spiritual journey.

Those of us here forget that this is our time to make the most out of life and not take anything for granted. We must live in love and in gratitude. I read a powerful line recently in a touching book that said something to the effect "If you start to look at the world with your heart instead of your mind then you will know GOD". How does this relate to the above...that is for you to decide but we all have purpose, meaning and a destination. We must try to elevate ourselves on levels that will encourage our mental, emotional and spiritual growth. This is your moment......"Seize it".

A new year..Another chance

I have taken a small break from blogging to enjoy the holidays with my friends and family and it was much enjoyed and appreciated. I had a chance to just be still, laugh, watch, learn and be in a state of gratitude for the blessings that are in my life. I have been blessed in my life and I try to always each day speak aloud how grateful I am for it all. For my family, my love, my health, my friends and even the friends that I have lost along the way of personal growth.

Personal growth is something that feels so right, so magnificent and extremely rewarding when it happens. I am in a state of outgrowing many things in my life at the moment, including people and I do not feel sad about it at all. You come to a space in your life when you have achieved such greatness, and worked so hard to get where you want to be, and the folks around you are just not made up of the same fabric. You may notice they are lazy, or the highlight of their day is to gossip, they may be jealous and hide it...whatever the reason is behind why you outgrow them its valid and don't second guess it..because you just know.

The people I choose to share my world with have been carefully chosen and selected and I am constantly reviewing that roster. I do not need to have those around me who are weak, conniving, envious, evil, bitter and deceitful. I am not made up of that and I wont digest it.

This new year is a blessing for us all who are here to enjoy it. I will not make it in vain, but work hard and live right. Be good to those around me and kind. Give as much as I possibly can and help those who are in need. It is not about me and it is not about you. Its about US. We all need to start seeing ourselves in the ones we have around us and use it as a mirror to be better, stronger, and more responsible for the lives we live. Each one can definitely teach one and reach one.
